Another Magic Millions Gold Coast January Sale concluded earlier this week and Proven Thoroughbreds left with 13 yearlings – get the low-down on each one here!
Proven’s total expenditure at the 2021 sale was $1.905 million at an average of $146,538.
The yearling prices ranged from $45,000 to $450,000 which has allowed us to cater for all budgets.
Our Brisbane stable of Steve O’Dea and Matt Hoysted will train 11 of the yearlings while Joe Pride (Warwick Farm) and John Bateman (Goulburn) were allocated one each.
We tend to focus on the O’Dea-Hoysted stable at this sale for the simple reason that the Magic Millions Summer carnival is on their doorstep and it ties in with the programming of Queensland-trained horses (Summer-Winter).
