ENCOSTA DE LAGO showed why he is the heir apparent of ZABEEL in Australasia’s broodmare sire standings with another fruitful weekend of results.
On Friday at Newcastle, ENCOSTA DE LAGO’s daughter HALLOWEEN produced the Group 3 Tibbie Stakes winner ALL SAINTS’ EVE.
Then on Saturday, CLASSIQUE LEGEND put forward his Everest claims with an exhilarating win in the Group 2 Shorts at Randwick.
ENCOSTA DE LAGO mares also had the second and third placegetters in the Group 1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes at Caulfield (DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR & PRETTY BRAZEN).
With 211 stakes performers worldwide from 2592 starters, ENCOSTA DE LAGO is the only broodmare sire in Australasia that could finish within touching distance of the legendary ZABEEL, who has to date amassed 376 stakes performers from 3226 starters.
