Lining up for his first race start over 1200m, FICHEUR came from last on the corner to win by three-quarters of a length eased down – belying his starting odds of $101!
FICHEUR is a three-quarter brother to the DUNDEEL x VARSITY BLUES filly. The other three-quarter brother – PROFIT – has banked more than $250k in a dozen starts and is stakes-placed behind ALLIGATOR BLOOD.
So in summary, this is a family that clearly matches well with DUNDEEL who is well on his way to becoming a top tier stallion with 10 individual stakes winners from his first three crops and a 50% winners to runners strike rate this season.
