With more than 150 stakes winners worldwide, FASTNET ROCK has long been regarded an elite sire and now his quality is starting shine through his broodmares.
This season in particular, has highlighted FASTNET ROCK’s broodmare sire credentials. Before August 1 of last year, FASTNET ROCK mares had thrown 18 stakes winners across seven seasons.
This season alone, his mares have produced another 9 stakes winners; representing a 50% increase on his overall total! They include last weekend’s victors GYTRASH and WILLIAM THOMAS, as well as GLOBAL QUEST, UNTAMED, AMANGIRI and ROCK.
And there is potential for the son of DANEHILL to add his haul with more than three months until the season is renewed on August 1.
Proven Thoroughbreds is currently offering two yearlings out of FASTNET ROCK mares at very affordable prices. A 2.5% share in the BETTER THAN READY x RIDOLFI colt is priced at $2,500 + GST while a 2.5% share in the SPILL THE BEANS x M’INDIGO filly is available for just $818.20 + GST.
