Promising 3yo NOT ON MY WATCH will be out to make amends for an unlucky defeat on debut when he lines up as favourite at Hawkesbury on Thursday.
Then at Goulburn’s Friday fixture, IN CIRCLES (pictured) travels down the Hume Highway in search of her first victory. Having placed in three of her four previous outings, she is also hard in the market.
Kembla Saturday will see another last start placegetter – ALABAMA SHOWDOWN – take on maiden company while Kerry Parker saddles up BROADWAY STREET in the 1400m Class 1 Provincial Handicap.
Whilst we didn’t have any winners in the past week, a pair of 2nds and a 4th by KING’S SECRET in the $1million Concorde Stakes certainly kept the wolf from the door!

A quartet of winners on Saturday – highlighted by MY GLADIOLA’s triumph in the Group 1 Moir Stakes – has Yarraman Park’s pinup boy setting the pace in this season’s sires premiership with more than $1.8million in earnings since August 1. Proven and Pride Racing currently have shares available in an I AM INVINCIBLE 2yo colt bred similarly to MY GLADIOLA.
BLACK BOOKER – KING’S SECRET
Impossible to go past KING’S SECRET as this week’s black booker after his slashing return in the Concorde Stakes where he finished with a wet sail to grab 4th. This was a clear peak in terms of first-up performances and signals what will hopefully be a big spring for PRIVATE EYE’s little brother. Look for him next in the $1million The Shorts back at Randwick on September 19.
