Proven Thoroughbreds’ first two-year-old of the season is set to be unveiled in a jumpout at Doomben on Tuesday.

MORE THAN READY filly SIENNA ROSE, closely related to multiple stakes winner MERCHANT NAVY, has been our most precocious youngster thus far and is due to step out for trainer Steve O’Dea in an unofficial trial, while six-time stakes winner and stable stalwart SIR MOMENTS (pictured) and consistent four-year-old mare SORNJA are also entered.

In the meantime, four O’Dea-trained gallopers – REALLY REILLY, BLONDE BY CHOICE, YES TONIGHT, and RECKLESS CHOICE – line up at the Sunshine Coast meeting on Sunday.

In Sydney, MASTERATI, from the Joe Pride stable, shoots for three consecutive wins in the 1400m Benchmark 70 at Warwick Farm on Wednesday.

Three other Proven Thoroughbreds horses will feature on the midweek program – THEWAYWEARE, LAST WISH, and DISCREET CHARM – all members of the John Thompson stable at Randwick.

Then on Thursday at Wyong, last start winner SO SPIRITED (Pride) runs in the Benchmark 65 Handicap (1350m).

SO SPIRITED’s stablemate SHOW ME THE HONEY is our only Sydney trialist in the week ahead, accepted for the 14th heat at Warwick Farm on Monday.
