A relatively quiet week ahead for Proven Thoroughbreds with two horses scheduled for racing.
Both ZEDFORCE (pictured) and THE BLACK TIDE will be good chances in their respective races this weekend as we close in on 36 winners for 2019 – our entire tally of winners from last year!
BLACKBOOKER: SIENNA ROSE made a slashing return to racing at Doomben last Saturday, running on into third behind highly rated stablemate JAMI LADY. That was by far and away her best first-up performance to date and looks poised to go close next start, particularly if a wet track is served up again.

Comment: Never handled the testing heavy (9) conditions at Rosehill last month. Comes back from Highway company to a benchmark 58 in which she will be well placed on her home track. A drier track will be key to her chances.

Comment: A minor set back meant her first-up run was delayed but showed above average ability in her initial campaign. Has trialled well.
