It’s been a big few days in the PROVEN camp with a 5 winners in 8 days. No doubt the highlight was the thundering finish of BANG ON TARGET to win at Kembla on debut and another grey is our highlight runner on Saturday.
So You Think 4 year old SO SPIRITED goes for his second win on the trot in the lucky last at Rosehill. After lumping 60kg at Wyong last start, the Joe Pride-trained gelding plunges to 53kg however he rises sharply in grade and has to contend with an awkward alley.
Our other weekend starter is the consistent REALLY REILLY who finds a small but select field in the Sunshine Coast’s opener.
Midweek the PROVEN team will be represented by last start winner MASTERATI at Warwick Farm whilst promising 2 year old TOO HOT TO HOLD and possibly REAL STING line up at the Gold Coast meeting.
This week’s victories have elevated our winner total for the calendar year to 23 and as the racing season draws to a close on July 31, the 2017/18 tally sits on 48.
