On the final day of the Adelaide Magic Millions Sale, we were able to secure the handsome son of Vonrob, a mare formerly trained by Guy. And at the right price!

Knocked down for just $22k, the colt bore a significant resemblance to his mother, from his chestnut colouring and muscular physique right down to his baldy face. Guy felt so highly of Vonrob at one stage that he nominated her for the DONCASTER but her closest brush with fame (apart from a city win with 59kg) was to be beaten 2 lengths in a REGINALD ALLEN STAKES behind the likes of LITTLE SURFER GIRL & SISTER MADLY.

By the DUBAWI stallion POET’S VOICE, already the sire of a trio of STAKES WINNERS in Europe and two winners from just 6 runners here in Australia, this colt, from the same family as the dual GROUP 1 winner TURRIDU looks outstanding value (for his pedigree click here). He’ll be prepared at Warwick Farm by Joe Pride.
