Proven Thoroughbreds joined forces with prominent owner Eric Lucas on day two of the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale at Newmarket to purchase a filly by So You Think for $110k.
The filly is the second So You Think to be added to the Proven Thoroughbreds team after a colt by the champion son of High Chaparral was secured for $150k on the Gold Coast earlier this year.
This particular filly, listed as lot 389, is the second foal from the Exceed And Excel mare Exceedingly Happy who is a half-sister to the 2009 Epsom Handicap winner Rock Kingdom.
She’s a beautiful type with a head and eye of her sire and is also a fluent mover. She will be trained by John Thompson at Randwick.
