On the fourth day of the Magic Millions Gold Coast yearling sale Proven Thoroughbreds was able to secure an outstanding son of first season sire So You Think.
The grey colt is a compact, precocious type from Spirited And Sexy which has had three winners from three foals to race.
The three winners are by largely unsuccessful stallions, including the stakes winner Fire Thunderbolt (California Dane).
So You Think, one of the greatest horses to grace the Australian turf and indeed the northern hemisphere, has all the right qualities to be as successful at stud as he was on the racetrack.
His stout pedigree mixed with the speed of the dam side makes this colt an attractive commodity.
Listed as lot 639, the colt was sold for $150k and will be trained by Tony McEvoy.
