A tidy looking Sebring filly from Danzero mare Divya was the first yearling added to Proven Thoroughbreds’ 2015 book at the Gold Coast Magic Millions Yearling Sale on Thursday.
The filly, listed as lot 205, was knocked down for $100k on account of Kia-Ora Stud. She is the first foal out of Divya, which is a three-quarter sister to the stakes winner Woppitt and a half-sister to the Group II winner Astrodame.
Kia-Ora’s multiple stakes-winning galloper Mahisara is also a close relation.
Proven Thoroughbreds’ Queensland trainer Steve O’Dea will prepare the horse. She will be eligible for next year’s lucrative Magic Millions carnival which is now worth $10 million.
