Following the appointment of Archie Alexander as our Victorian trainer, Proven Thoroughbreds welcomes Jason Cornell, who will be in charge of sales and client management in the southern state.
Jason brings a wealth of experience to his new role with Proven Thoroughbreds, including a lengthy tenure with the Hong Kong Jockey Club where he was instrumental in developing commercial sponsorship and the HKJC international race day.
A proud father of five boys, Jason and his wife Sophie are now settled in Victoria where Sophie currently sits on the board of the VRC.
Proven Thoroughbreds’ Victorian venture officially kicked off earlier this year with the acquisition of four yearlings to be trained by Archie, who learned his craft under training icons Aiden O’Brien in Ireland, American Todd Pletcher and Alec & Criquette Head in France before an Australian stint with Lloyd Williams.
With Archie having already trained Group winners in his first couple of years at Ballarat and Jason’s knowledge and experience within the industry, Proven Thoroughbreds is confident the expansion into Victoria will be successful, and complements our current bases in Sydney, Brisbane, Goulburn and Canberra.
