The Nick Olive-trained UNYIELDING made it four wins in 12 days for Proven Thoroughbreds after claiming the final race at Wagga on Monday.

The four-year-old son of I AM INVINCIBLE has been a quirky horse but appreciated the removal of a Norton bit and application of winkers in the 1200m contest.

A beautiful ride by Brodie Loy from an awkward barrier saw the gelding position three pairs back one off the fence before winning comfortably on the line by 1-1/2 lengths.

It was UNYIELDING’s third career victory at his 17th start, taking his total earnings past $60,000.

The result also followed wins to THEWAYWEARE, REALLY REILLY and LOTHARIO since November 9.

Proven Thoroughbreds will be shooting for 23 wins for the calendar year when LOTHARIO steps out at Doomben on Wednesday.
