Proven Thoroughbreds runners this week may be low on numbers but high in quality.
A trio of representatives of the black and lime green will be spearheaded by PRIVATE EYE in the $2million Group 2 Ingham over the Randwick mile on Saturday.
On the same day consistent mare OCEAN ZAR, who chases her fourth career win over the 1400m course at Eagle Farm while promising stayer ELLE HUDSON take his place at Hawkesbury second-up from a break 24 hours later.
Meanwhile, Proven Thoroughbreds is currently conducting a 3 minute survey to obtain a greater understanding of our client base as well as the broader racing public. Note this is an anonymous survey and we would very much appreciate your feedback. CLICK HERE to begin the survey.

SIRE ON FIRE – ZOUSTAR
Sired an impressive 10 winners across 10 different venues last Saturday including Tails Stakes victor ARTS OBJECT. That’s why he’s currently number one on the premiership.
BLACK BOOKER – ACCREDITED
Finally got back into the winners stall after some misfortune but it was some return. Backed off the map from $2 into $1.55, the son of ALL TOO HARD ran his last 600m 4L above standard time and was eased down when scoring by 3L. Dry tracks are his go and he should get plenty in the coming weeks.

Upcoming Proven Thoroughbreds runners
Randwick Saturday December 14
G2 The Ingham 1600m
PRIVATE EYE
Joe Pride/Nash Rawiller
Comment: Found some form again last start when dropping in grade to win the Listed Festival Stakes over 1500m on a heavy track. That was his first go beyond 1300m for almost two years. Surely a drier track only enhances his chances?
Eagle Farm Saturday December 14
Class 3 Plate 1400m
OCEAN ZAR
Matt Hoysted/Nikita Beriman
Comment: Been given a freshen up since struggling on a bog track at the Sunshine Coast last month. She’s better suited on a drier surface and her record over this track and distance reads 6:3-1-1. In fact, her last three runs over the 1400m here has resulted in a win and two losses where the total margin was 1L.
Hawkesbury Sunday December 15
Class 1 Handicap 1400m
ELLE HUDSON
Joe Pride/Regan Bayliss
Comment: Great return surging to the line in a race that rated fairly. Will strip fitter and while the 1400m will suit more, look for him to be even better suited out to the mile and beyond. That said, he does look much better than than Class 1 grade.
