ZOUSTAR’s stock is on the rise and Proven Thoroughbreds was fortunate enough to purchase one of his daughters on the final day of the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale in Melbourne.
In conjunction with our newly appointed Victorian trainer Archie Alexander, the ZOUSTAR x MISS SINGO filly (lot 524) was secured for $130k – an attractive price considering 29 of the sire’s progeny sold at an average of $167k in book 1.
As well as producing the Magic Millions winner and current Golden Slipper favourite Sunlight, ZOUSTAR has induced glowing reports from breakers and trainers alike so it was made a priority to find one this year.
This filly has an attractive head and eye as well as a lovely fluid walking action. She also has plenty of scope.
In terms of physique, this filly was up there with the best yearlings we have acquired this year!
