A 3yo filly that bypassed last Saturday’s Group 1 TJ Smith Stakes (1200m) is Nic Ashman’s best bet on Day 2 of The Championships at Randwick.

“Third-up but freshened since her G1 victory in the Surround Stakes. This is a high class filly that should’ve been in last week’s TJ Smith Stakes but being part of a breeding operation she made way for the colt TENTYRIS which proved to be the wrong choice,” Ashman said.
“She placed in an Everest behind KA YING RISING over this T&D. Her ratings are much better than any of these.
“Rated her $1.42. She’s still overs.”
The top price around for TEMPTED as of Friday afternoon was $1.80.
