Our resident form analyst Nic Ashman has found a horse running in the Group 2 Blamey Stakes (1600m) at Flemington with SIR DELIUS and LINDERMANN formlines.

“Second-up and typically races well on the fresh side,” Ashman said.
“At same stage last preparation he got held up multiple times before flashing late. That was behind LINDERMANN and SIR DELIUS which looks the best formline for this.
“He also drops in weight off that and his fresh run this time in.
“Little bit of rain wouldn’t hurt either.”
The top price around for BIRDMAN as of Friday afternoon was $5.
