Our resident form analyst Nic Ashman is expecting the favourite to prevail in Saturday’s renewal of the Group 1 Futurity Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield.

“Outstanding mare resuming,” Ashman said.
“The equation is simple. Her rating first-up in the spring will win this race. It was over this track and distance and we expect the track to play similarly to how it did that day.
“The question is can she go to that level again here? Or will a taxing spring dull her autumn?
“If she runs to that number, she’s a $1.20 chance. Even if she rates 2L below, she’s still around the $1.65-$1.70 range. That’s where we think she’ll land.”
The top price around for TREASURETHE MOMENT as of Friday afternoon was $2.
Last week Nic tipped another Yulong owned galloper ANGEL CAPITAL at $4. The entire was backed into a low of $2.60 but after being vetted behind the gates and over-racing, he couldn’t finish closer than 4th in the Expressway Stakes.
