Proven Thoroughbreds is delighted to announce a new association with emerging Pakenham trainer Charlotte Littlefield.
Proven purchased four lots at the 2025 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale, one of which – the SHAMUS AWARD x WITH A BIT OF DASH colt – will be remaining in Victoria to be prepared by Littlefield.
Charlotte is from Somerset, England where her interest in horses began with pony club before finding her way onto the British Eventing Team at the European Championships. Charlotte moved to Australia in 2005 and 10 years later established a boutique training operation – Hayfields Racing – with her husband Julian Hay. (You can read a full bio on Charlotte HERE).
Hayfields Racing’s current headline horse is SHE’S BULLETPROOF, winner of the Group 3 Bellmaine Stakes and runner-up in the Group 1 Oakleigh Plate last month.
Charlotte’s training philosophies very much align with Proven which gives us confidence this venture will be a long and successful one.
Our other three acquisitions from Oaklands are all high quality fillies and will be heading to the Joe Pride stable in Sydney – I AM INVINCIBLE x FRANCALETTA filly, SHAMUS AWARD x CICERO FIELD filly and TORONADO x SCARLET NIGHTS filly.
A great incentive to buy at this sale is of course the Inglis Xtra Race Series which schedules 50 maiden races every season worth $100,000 to the winner!
