A quartet of Proven Thoroughbreds race mares will be sold for breeding purposes on the Gold Coast this week, including the stakes placed speed merchant KYLEASE.
Proven Thoroughbreds has fond memories of the annual Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale. It was only last year when the Group 1-placed GOTTA KISS (pictured) was sold for an astonishing $800,000 after earning the best part of half a million dollars in 14 starts on the racetrack.
Whilst we are not expecting another GOTTA KISS fairy tale this year, the strength of the thoroughbred market would suggest our owners are set to receive a healthy dividend from the sales of KYLEASE, SALTOREE, TRIP THE LIGHT and THINK GLORY, particularly the former, who has banked $415,440 in a 27-start career.
All four of the mares have been consigned to leading Queensland vendor Kenmore Lodge.
