Proven Thoroughbreds’ success with the SO YOU THINK breed provided the impetus to purchase lot 413 on the second day of the Gold Coast Magic Millions Yearling Sale.
In conjunction with Joe Pride Racing, Proven Thoroughbreds successfully bid $110k for the SO YOU THINK x ULTIMA CARTA filly from the draft of Fairhill Farm.
Recent performances by two of our more promising young horses – DISCREET CHARM and SO SPIRITED – gave us the confidence to back SO YOU THINK again this year.
This filly is much in the same mould as the Pride-trained SO SPIRITED, with a big girth and an attractive mix of style (from her sire) and substance (from her dam’s sire CHOISIR).
“She’s all-quality,” Pride said.
To date, only one horse with the SO YOU THINK x CHOISIR cross has raced – a four-year-old mare with two wins and six placings from nine starts in Victoria.
