A big roll up of owners, families and interested parties turned up for our last JOE PRIDE OPEN Morning on Sunday. As the Mitch Newman BBQ sizzled, Bronwyn Potts’ delicious cakes (pictured) beckoned us all and Martina’s Coffee Cart kept the caffeine pumping, eight of our current team paraded at Joe’s Warwick Farm HQ.
Only 3 of the eight have raced with the unbeaten ARGENT D’OR one of the physical stars of the morning. The unbeaten SEBRING 3yo steps out in a trial at Warwick Farm Thursday before commencing a campaign that may, just may, end up on the Gold Coast at the MAGIC MILLIONS.
It was great to see so many owners out and about in the beautiful sunshine. Joe again spoke eloquently and informatively about the individual traits of each horse and some of the many challenges he faces as a trainer to extract the best from each individual.
