On the third day of the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale Proven Thoroughbreds went back to the So You Think well and secured a magnificent colt for $120k.

The colt (lot 435) is from the Dehere mare Heretis, who is a half-sister to the stakes winners La Baraka and Tsuimai. Heretis’ only foal to race is a winner, Iamhere (by I Am Invincible).

He is very much a replica of his father in the view of trainer John Thompson who highly recommended him.

Thompson served eight years as foreman for Bart Cummings which encompassed So You Think’s entire career in Australia.

The colt was bred by the White family as was the distaff side of his pedigree.

He’s a beautiful type with a lot of range and length, an outstanding example of the sire’s first crop.

John Thompson is looking forward to getting his hands on him.
