Adorabeel displayed fighting qualities at Randwick on Saturday to win her first stakes race – the Group III Aspiration Quality (1600m).

The win completed an amazing progression for the daughter of Savabeel, who had not won a metropolitan race prior to this preparation.

Under the training of Joe Pride, Adorabeel has blossomed and put her temperamental issues behind her. Joe acknowledged the patience of previous trainer the late Guy Walter in developing this vastly improved racemare.

She collected $90,000 for her win on Saturday which took her career earnings to more than $255,000.

With a black type success now next to her name, Adorabeel’s value as a broodmare has increased significantly.

Providing she comes through the run in good order, Adorabeel will run in the Group III Epona Stakes (1900m) at Rosehill on Golden Slipper day.

Shares remain in a filly by Savabeel which will also be joining the Pride stable. Click here for more details.
