The Sydney Classic Sale, this year scheduled in February, was a tough domain to find value in, but the filly secured on the final day was a rare gem. The shapely Congrats filly, first foal of the classy stakes placed mare Belscenica (winner of 7 from 1400m-2040m and 266k) was a bargain at just 32.5k.
Reared at Vinery Stud the filly was a correct, bold moving type who took our eye the moment she was paraded. She’ll be heading to the stable of John Bateman at Goulburn. John was Guy’s foreman for the duration of the 7 year Goulburn stable and has already tasted success for Proven Thoroughbreds with the handy galloper Destined To Win.
Becoming a part of this filly represents an opportunity to own a horse with a trainer who espouses the same philosophies as Guy did.
