Proven Thoroughbreds has made the most of a subdued market at the Magic Millions March QTIS Sale as the omnipresent Coronavirus grips racing.
The COVID-19 pandemic has heavily compromised racing with news coming through on Monday that all future meetings will be closed to the public – including owners. This has been deemed a necessary measure to ensure the health and safety of our participants.
Fortunately the QTIS Sale proceeded as normal on Monday and Proven was able to secure two yearlings, each for the bargain price of $20k. See below.
And if you missed it, last week we launched a new segment called In The Blood which provides a summary of weekly stakes results and how they correlate to the pedigrees of our 2020 yearlings. Read the latest edition HERE.

The penny may have finally dropped for AZOUSTICafter the four-year-old gelding broke his maiden in style last week. The son of ZOUSTAR swooped down the outside to win pulling away from his rivals. He appears to have appreciated a change of scenery from Warwick Farm to Goulburn and looks to have more wins in store.
Comment: Has been faced with rain affected tracks in his first two runs and been far from disgraced. A slightly better track here could see sharp improvement and looks to be crying out for this trip.
Comment: Got too far back and finished four lengths in arrears of the winner at Doomben on March 4. Races well at the Gold Coast so look for improvement.
