A busy Saturday will see Proven Thoroughbreds represented by up to seven runners across three racetracks.

The Joe Pride-trained trio BROOK MAGIC (1100m BM70), ARGENT D’OR (1100 BM78) and GAMBLESTOWN (2000m BM78) are acceptors for the Rosehill meeting however the latter is in some doubt due to a foot abscess.

The Pride stable has been in fine form of late, winning at a strike rate of 23 percent in the last month so hopefully the trend continues Saturday.

Meanwhile at the Sunshine Coast, another three Proven Thoroughbreds gallopers are set to run for the Steve O’Dea stable.

MASTERATI (pictured) takes on a 1400m BM70 following an excellent second placing behind the highly-rated Femme Fireball two weeks ago while TOO HOT TO HOLD chases lucrative QTIS prizemoney ($85,550 to the winner!) in the 1600m 3YO Handicap.

COOL SEQUENCE is the stable’s other runner and resumes in the 1200m NMW in search of a deserved Saturday win after a preparation that returned eight top three finishes in nine starts!

The John Bateman-trained CHOUXTORIAL rounds out our Saturday runners, starting in the 1300m Maiden on his home track of Goulburn.

In other Proven news, multiple Group-winning colt SESAR has arrived at Aquis Farm for a spell while his half-brother DOUBT DEFYING lines up in the Group I Mackinnon Stakes (2000m) at Flemington on Saturday.
