Form analyst Nic Ashman has identified a lightly-raced European import running at Caulfield as his best bet this Saturday.

“Terrific Australian debut at Pakenham then showed he’d come on from that with a very high rating win over this course and distance.” Ashman said.
“It’s a fairly simple equation – if he runs to that same number he wins. If he improves again, he’s a good thing.
“Sometimes these European imports can run flat after a massive peak – that’s the risk – but otherwise he should take care of these and progress towards stakes racing.”
The top price around for SIMURGH as of Friday afternoon was $1.95.
Last week Nic tipped I AM DIRTY at $3.60 which saluted in the Listed Bill Carter Stakes at Doomben.
