“Second-up and 3 from 4 this stage of prep. There’s no standout in this year’s edition of the only fillies/mares G1 Handicap on the calendar and the better performed runners have got to carry weight,” Ashman said.
“Her run first-up in a key lead-up was super beaten 1.6L by VERONA ROSE and she meets that horse 4kg better at the weights.
“Maps to park in the running line one off the fence. Would love some rain but even on the dry looks a good longshot.”
The top price around for SHOHISHA as of Friday afternoon was $21.
