The returning CANADIAN DANCER is Proven Thoroughbreds’ sole runner this week.
Winner of the Listed Princess Stakes (1600m) this time last year, CANADIAN DANCER is due to resume in the 1200m BM72 Handicap at Doomben on Saturday.
The claim of Jaden Lloyd will be invaluable as the mare has been allocated 60kg in the $75,000 event as she prepares for target races over slightly longer distances.
On the following day at Kolora Lodge, Proven Thoroughbreds and the O’Dea-Hoysted stable will be hosting an open day for both current and prospective clients, showcasing our 2023 acquisitions. Shares remain in 7 of the 12 yearlings purchased with the stable this year.

BLACK BOOKER
RICH LISTER returned from a throat operation at the Deagon trials on Tuesday and looked the part in comfortably winning her heat. She’s always displayed above average ability, winning four of her first 11 starts. Look forward to seeing what she can do this preparation.

Comment: Consistent mare resuming. First-up last preparation was only 1.6 lengths off ME ME LAGARDE in much stronger company and won a stakes race at her only start here last year. Will be better over further but class could take her a long way.
