Proven Thoroughbreds will have its first runner for new trainer Kerry Parker this week.
GREENSPAN, formerly prepared by the now retired John Bateman, heads to Warwick Farm on Wednesday for Parker and has been specked at big odds, firming from $101 into $67.
On his best form, GREENSPAN could certainly make his presence felt but strikes an unusually strong off-season midweek race.
On Saturday, Proven will be represented by a pair of stakes runners in the shape of SCALLOPINI and STOCKMAN.
The resuming SCALLOPINI lines up in the Group 2 Moreton Cup (1200m) at Eagle Farm on Saturday while STOCKMAN backs up for the third consecutive Saturday in the Listed Winter Cup (2400m) at Rosehill.

Comment: Has caught the eye late in two runs over 1300m. Crying out for the extra distance and gets in on a lightweight but strikes a hot midweek race.
Comment: Brave as ever last Saturday with 60.5kg. The winner had the drop on him and a 6.5kg weight advantage so for the margin to only be half a length was a huge effort. They cleared out from the rest. Backing up for the second Saturday in a row but racing well.
