The festive season is upon us and John Thompson has once again opened his stable doors for this Sunday December 4.
We currently have limited shares available in three of our two-year-olds with John – a filly from the last crop of the late COMMANDS out of a winning ZABEEL mare, a colt by champion NZ galloper JIMMY CHOUX, and a son of 2010 Melbourne Cup winner AMERICAIN. Our Derby and Oaks aspirants THE GRANDSON & BLANCO CARA will also be paraded, along with older horses such as the THEWAYWEARE, LAST WISH, TAHSIN, & CANNON RUN.
All are welcome from 9.30am for a coffee and BBQ brunch. It’s a great opportunity to get up close and personal with the stable environment and acquaint yourself with John, who is very approachable and thoroughly professional. For a fascinating insight into his background click here.
John’s stables can be accessed on High St, Randwick. The entry is a security gate located approximately halfway up the hill of High St overlooking the racecourse. After pressing the green button to open the gate, follow the road around to the right where John’s signage will be apparent.
