The Group 1 Kingsford Smith Cup is the feature race on Saturday and there is a double-figure priced runner due for some luck.
VICTOREM (Eagle Farm R8 N3): We tipped this horse first-up at Scone a fortnight ago and think most would agree he was close to a good thing beaten. Had he got out into clear running earlier he probably runs down Viridine. Steps up to weight-for-age Group 1 company second-up but don't think it's a vintage Group 1 and this galloper has more upside than most of the others. With added fitness and an extra 200m in trip, Victorem looks much better than an $11 chance.
