Runners on six of the following seven days will be highlighted by KYLEASE’s stakes debut in the Group 3 Hawkesbury Guineas.

The Joe Pride-trained filly is due to contest Saturday’s $200,000 feature after wins at her last three starts.

This week will also herald the return of some of Proven Thoroughbreds’ elder statesmen in TAMARACK (pictured) and ARGENT D’OR.

Meanwhile SO SPIRITED has been nominated for three races over the weekend. Which race he contests will depend on track conditions.

Upcoming Proven Thoroughbreds runners:

Wagga Tuesday April 23:

Maiden 1300m

 THE BLUESMOBILE

John Bateman/Richard Bensley

Comment: Debutant given plenty of time. Likely to find this too slick with longer trips in mind.

Wyong Wednesday April 24:

Maiden 1350m

 ROMALETTE

Joe Pride/Corey Brown

Comment: Fitter and more experienced for a seventh on debut over 1100m at Hawkesbury. Extra distance suits and drawn favourably.

Randwick Thursday April 25 (ANZAC Day):

BM74 1000m

 ARGENT D’OR

Joe Pride/Jay Ford

Comment: Strikes an ideal race first-up but, as always, will need the speed on up front to bring his a-game.

Canberra Friday April 26:

BM70 1000m

 SHOW ME THE HONEY

John Bateman/Nick Heywood

Comment: First-up for new stable. Sound in private jump outs and last win came at this trip. Can win on best form.

Class 1 Handicap 1200m

 WYENDRA

John Bateman/Blaike McDougall

Comment: Back from a 10-month break. Working well at home and was a winner at this venue on debut last year.

Eagle Farm Saturday April 27:

BM75 1400m

 FRANCISCA

Steve O’Dea/Ronnie Stewart

Comment: Has been desperately unlucky not to win this preparation, beaten less than half a length in four of five starts. Should be a major player again.

 SO SPIRITED

Steve O’Dea/Blake Shinn

Comment: Enormous run at his Queensland debut when wide throughout before beaten half a length in a blanket finish at Toowoomba. A repeat effort would see him go close again.

Class 6 1200m

 COOL SEQUENCE

Steve O’Dea/Jag Guthmann-Chester

Comment: In career best form. Getting deep into his preparation now but impossible to knock with his gritty on-pace style of racing. Gets in well after the apprentice’s claim.

Hawkesbury Saturday April 27:

Group III Hawkesbury Guineas 1400m

 KYLEASE

Joe Pride/Corey Brown

Comment: Highly promising filly shooting for four consecutive wins. This her first foray into stakes racing but looks every bit up to it.

BM78 1500m

 TAMARACK

Joe Pride/Jay Ford

Comment: Hard to see him winning first-up as an older stayer now. Expecting him to be running on late.

BM78 1300m

 SO SPIRITED

Steve O’Dea/TBA

Comment: Enormous run at his Queensland debut when wide throughout before beaten half a length in a blanket finish at Toowoomba. A repeat effort would see him go close again.

Goulburn Sunday April 28:

Class 1 1400m

 ZEDFORCE

John Bateman/Shaun Guymer

Comment: Given a little freshen-up since disappointing at Canberra. Two prior runs were strong and gets onto her home track here.

Sunshine Coast Sunday April 28:

BM85 1400m

 SO SPIRITED

Steve O’Dea/TBA

Comment: Enormous run at his Queensland debut when wide throughout before beaten half a length in a blanket finish at Toowoomba. A repeat effort would see him go close again.
